Reception

Requests for repeat medication can be posted through the letter box on the front door.

Telephone requests for repeat prescriptions

Telephone requests can be made at the practice only for those who are unable to use the above means.

Unfortunately the telephone service can result in more issues when reordering medication - for example - unclear line which means that no prescription request can be processed. However, for the small amount of people who should require this service, requests for repeat prescriptions and be made by calling the practice and selecting option 1 from the menu, make sure are giving your name, address, date of birth and then the full name of the required medication, strength and quantity and lastly the designated pharmacy you wish you prescription to be collected from.

Please be aware we are unable to contact patients with a result of their request - therefore if we have been unable to process the order for any reason whether technical or clinical a prescription will not be issued.

Our policy is to have your repeat prescription within 48 working hours from when you make your request.  Please allow enough time prior to and during bank holidays and other holidays when the practice is closed when making your request.

SPECIAL NOTICE

Please be aware that during the COVID 19 pandemic we would encourage our patients to allow extra time when ordering their repeat prescription, which can be ordered up to 7 days in advance. Patients should allow up to 72 hours for collection of their prescription from their community pharmacy
